There’s so many things to see and do on the Alderbrook Lake property! Don’t expect to see everything in one weekend! You’ll just have to visit us again.
Kayaking
Take a dip in Alderbrook Lake – We have our own private beach area or take a boat out and jump right in! Bring your own boat or ask us about renting a boat! Don’t forget to bring the kayaks too!
Fishing
You’re invited to fish in the lake which we keep stocked with rainbow trout. Search for critters and crayfish in the fresh stream.
Hiking
Take a walk to the end of the Lake to see one of the oldest Dams in New York State and our beautiful waterfall. Enjoy our six miles of hiking trails.
Barn
Hang out at the Barn game room and outside bar area.
Winter
Visiting during winter? You’re welcome to use the frozen lake for skating and hockey games! Enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or just curling up in the lodge and enjoying the beautiful scenery with a warm mug in hand. No one should need an excuse to visit the Adirondacks, but if you need some inspiration, check out our weekend getaway ideas!
The Area
Welcome to your Adirondack Getaway! Alderbrook Lodge and Chalet is located in the town of Bolton Landing, situated in the Lake George area and within the Adirondack Park. Did you know Adirondack Park is the largest park preserve in the US? People travel from far and wide to enjoy the thousands of miles of preserved forest trails, ski runs, campgrounds, high peaks, lakes, rivers, streams, and brooks. It’s truly a special place. Lake George alone contains 172 islands! But besides the wonder of nature, there’s something for everyone in our area!
